Characteristics of good handwritting


 Good handwriting gives a pleasant impression and the teacher should help the students to write beautifully. The 8 important way in characteristics of good handwriting.

Distinctiveness:

  Each letter should be distinctive.when linking a letter from 'a' or 'O' they make the same resemblence. 'O' in the second word looks like 'a'.

Legiblity:

  Legiblity of handwriting is of great importance in writing.The five aspects of cursive writing are lettr formation ,spacing, alignment,regularity or slant and thequalith of strokeshould be paid attention to bring about legibility in the handwriting.

Simplicity:

  The letter should be simple.The unnecessary loops unwanted artistics curves,strokes and twisting of letters should be strictly avoided.

Uniformity:

The letter should be uniform in size

Spacing:

  Spacing is an essentiel features of good handwriting.the letter in a word the word in a line. Aand the line in a para should have equel space.

Capitalization:

  Capital letter should be appropriately used.beginning of a sentence, proper nouns, words representing god. ,I. And the first letter of the words which comes within the inverted commas.

Punctuation:

Punctuation marks should be carefully used.if commited mistakes the entire meaning will be changed.

Speed:

The writing should be written legibly. This will take reasonable speed.
