                             Child Centered Education 

  Meaning:
        Child centered education refers to the ways of teaching and treating to ways of teaching  children in which the child's needs and wishes are them most important thing child centered education is designed to develop the individual and social quality of a student  rather than providing a prescribed subject matter used for elementary or secondary education in schools .
         It is a sort of revolution againts subject centered education. It provides natural flow of activity and spontaneous growth of the child . He must be allowed to enjoy complete freedom.
         Teachers role is that of a interested observer and guide who encourages ,advices and stimulas the child.
         The child is stimulated to activity by his own felt needs and inner drives learning take place as he strive to meet the needs .
         As child is centered of education development of mind ,body and spirit of the child should be reflected in the program and planning of actions .
        Nothing should be taught to him until he is capable of understanding it.
        Individually should be respected that his natural interest like play and curiosity should from the basic of education.
       Books should be avoided at the early stage and  more emphasis should be given to the child sensory and natural development.
     The following points need to the considered for promoting child centered education.

Freedom:
     Freedom was granded to the child to discover think than getting second hand information through books.
Self activities:
     Frobal developed play ,games,songs and occupation designed to stimulus the child self activity .
Process of spontaneous development:
    The child progress at his own speed in a subject.  The role of the Teacher is to understand the child .
Development of interest and needs:
    The education of child depends on his interest and needs .The physical  , social, moral and spiritual development of the child.
All round development of a child :
    Teaching styles and technique should be such that to bring all round development of personality of the child .
